I LOVE TRICKY KEYS!
I remember playing the original version of this game a couple years back! You've really improved the overall feel and gameplay flow. Being able to roll through the entire level quickly feels great.
I do think the game could be improved by making it more difficult. I like the health system, but the levels are loaded with too many health pickups for hearts to really feel earned. The boss was more of a challenge, but it'd be nice if there was a fixed number of phases before you could damage him (I found myself waiting a long time before the damage phase rolled around)
Regardless, I was glad to see and play through the game again. Great work on this!
Really great work all around! Loved the detail in the environments and the general flow / backtracking aspects of some levels. Definitely feels leagues better to play on a controller.
extremely rewarding in every regard, i'm a changed man
excellent style + atmosphere you got going on, controls take some getting used to but love love love the overall feel
The basic gameplay isn't anything I haven't already seen before, but the roguelike level progression is a nice twist and the HARDCORE music and visuals more than make up for it. mad fucking respect
takes me back to Yin Yang from the Nitrome days, super nice work
The character + animation is super fluid, I love the little flourishes like the squash+stretch on moomoo and the physics on the tail. the whole fractional hearts mechanic is also sweet, all the criticism I could have is just that the tiles and levels are pretty bare-bones - would absolutely love to see more of this with some more fleshed-out levels
Killer work. Level progression and the introduction of new mechanics is super well balanced.

I make all kinds of mediocre music and games for my own amusement. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds!
